All sales through ZenPen Poultry LLC are final.
Because we sell live animals and hatching eggs, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges. Once eggs or birds leave our farm, too much is outside of our control.
Hatching Eggs
Shipped hatching eggs are always a gamble. While we do our best to send quality fertile eggs, we cannot control how packages are handled in transit or how eggs are incubated after arrival.
For that reason, there are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on hatching eggs. By purchasing hatching eggs, you understand that hatch rates can vary and that even a 40% hatch rate on shipped eggs can be considered a good outcome.
Live Birds and Chicks
There are no refunds, returns, or exchanges on chicks or live poultry. We are not responsible for losses that happen after birds leave our care, including issues related to transport, brooder setup, feed, water, stress, weather, or handling.
Shipping Concerns
If a shipment arrives with a clear issue caused during transit, you must contact us right away with photos and order details. We may review shipping related concerns on a case by case basis, but review does not guarantee a refund, replacement, or store credit.
Weather Delays
Shipping may be delayed when temperatures or weather conditions are not safe for eggs or live birds. We reserve the right to hold orders until it is safer to ship.
Deposits
Any deposit placed to hold eggs, chicks, or birds is nonrefundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
