At ZenPen Poultry LLC, the safety of our birds and eggs comes first. Because we sell live animals and hatching eggs, shipping is handled differently than standard retail products.

Shipping Area
ZenPen Poultry LLC currently ships within the United States only.

Shipping Timing
Shipping dates depend on availability, weather, and animal safety. We do not guarantee specific ship dates or delivery dates.

We reserve the right to delay shipping at any time if temperatures or weather conditions are not safe for hatching eggs or live birds.

Hatching Egg Shipping
Shipped hatching eggs are always a gamble. While we do our best to send quality fertile eggs packed with care, once eggs leave our farm, shipping conditions are outside of our control.

We do not guarantee hatch rates on shipped eggs. Hatch results can be affected by carrier handling, temperature changes, detached air cells, storage, incubation practices, humidity, and many other factors. By purchasing shipped hatching eggs, you understand that even a hatch rate of around 40% can be considered a good outcome.

Live Bird Shipping
Live chicks and poultry are shipped only when conditions are considered safe. We may require shipments to be held for pickup at your local post office or carrier location when needed.

Once live birds leave our care, ZenPen Poultry LLC is not responsible for issues caused by delays in pickup, brooder setup, housing, feed, water, weather, stress, or handling after arrival.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are separate unless otherwise stated.

Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. ZenPen Poultry LLC is not responsible for delays or delivery problems caused by incorrect address information.

Carrier Delays
We are not responsible for shipping delays, mishandling, or delivery issues caused by USPS or any other carrier once an order has been handed off for shipment.

Shipping Issues
If there is a clear shipping related issue, you must contact us promptly with photos and order details so we can review the situation. Any review of a shipping issue is done at our sole discretion and does not guarantee a refund, replacement, or store credit.
